Parov Stelar sees painting as an impulse reaction. In the digital design phase, he leaves a lot to chance. The first montages on the computer lead to the layout or draft, with which he goes to the canvas, which he transforms classically with oil into its color dress. During the painting process, the artist describes, it happens again and again that a picture turns again completely. As soon as the picture looks at him, when he looks at it, he knows that it is completed. For him, painting is to be understood as the antithesis of music. The haptic aspect of painting is like a counterbalance to the digital. For him, art is an indicator that he is still alive.
