Andy Warhol Committee 2000

From a private collection in Munich we can offer Andy Warhol’s Committee 2000. The previous owner bought several works in the early 80s directly from the publisher in Munich and was involved in the project itself. We learned from him that the title was actually intended to be “Champagne”, later it was decided to use the name of the publisher “Committee 2000” as the title, on the occasion of the celebrations of the new millennium in 2000. The work was never framed until our purchase and professionally stored in a drawer without any influence of external circumstances. Accordingly, the condition is still outstanding.
