The Contemporary Fine Art Gallery HAAS & GSCHWANDTNER was founded 2012 in Salzburg. The Gallery represents contemporary, internationally renowned and upcoming exceptional artists who have developed a unique approach to art. Midcareer artists such as Ian Davenport, Julian Opie, Alex Katz or Heiner Meyer are also represented in the gallery, as well as the younger generation, like Birgit Graschopf, Julian Khol, Florian Fausch, Deniz Alt or the street art collective 3Steps. The gallery also aims at continuously present established and outstanding artists in the festival city.

With the new, more than 300 m² location of the gallery at Neutorstraße 19, in the Gründerzeit district of Riedenburg, the exhibition program focuses not only on the presentation of painting but also on works from the fields of sculpture, installation, graphics, photography, video and new media as well as interdisciplinary and concept-oriented artistic methods. During the festival season, the gallery focuses on the exhibitions of international art stars. In addition to solo exhibitions by the represented artists, whose works have also found their way into numerous collections of renowned national and international museums, there are also curated group exhibitions.

In current program, the gallery looks back on a successful participation in the secondary market. Here the focus is on outstanding limited edition prints of highest quality with best provenance. Works by the most famous representatives of Pop Art like Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselmann, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Indiana and Mel Ramos, are available and have been successfully placed in prestigious private collections.
