Heiner Meyer meets Parov Stelar

Gallery HAAS & GSCHWANDTNER presented two very popular exhibitions this summer. At the Bank Austria Kunstforum in Vienna visitors could experience Heiner Meyer's exhibition " Pop Art Now", at the gallery in Salzburg Parov Stelar's exhibition " tomorrow was ok!" was shown.

The artists have a very different visual language but also some things in common: both are extremely successful internationally and have an affinity for Pop Art. Accordingly, the two exhibitions have attracted a lot of attention. Due to the great response, we decided at short notice to combine a selection in a joint exhibition. Thereby we want to give as many art lovers as possible the opportunity to see the fantastic works of these artists. The exhibition will start on Friday, September 01. Heiner Meyer has created a unique visual language by resorting to pictorial forms and subjects from the world of comics , from the dazzling world of elitist consumption and style icons of the present as well as from the Hollywood dream factory. Parov Stelar, previously known mainly as a pioneer of electroswing, has also established himself as a painter. His painting is great, very authentic and personal.
