Royal Prints

Under the title Royal Prints, the HAAS & GSCHWANDTNER Gallery in Salzburg is bringing together outstanding silkscreen prints by Andy Warhol for this year's 2023 Easter Festival, as well as other works by renowned representatives of Pop Art, such as Roy Lichtenstein, and contemporary greats, such as Alex Katz or Julian Opie, who also refer to the art movement. Also presented are works by the British artist Ian Davenport, whom we have represented since the beginning of the gallery's activities and who has since developed into an artist who is in great demand worldwide.

A highlight of the exhibition is Julian Opie's 6-piece set "Old Street Walkers". These are lenticular panels, a special technique that makes the people depicted appear to be moving as the perspective changes.
